We want the Games to be:

• accessible
• inclusive.

We want art from the Sunshine Coast to be part of the Games.

We want our community to feel good about the Games.

We want the Games to celebrate and respect First Nations cultures.

Culture is the way a group of people live and what they believe.

We want people in the community to volunteer.

When you volunteer, you:

• work but you don’t get paid
• do work that helps the community.

We want to have more housing that people can afford.

We will include new Changing Places when we upgrade our sports centres.

Changing Places are accessible bathrooms for people who need more support.

The new Changing Places will be at

• Sunshine Coast Stadium
• Sunshine Coast Nature-Based Recreation Precinct.

We will look into supporting people to get ready to volunteer at the Games.

We will work with the Games to make sure events go through our:

bullet beach towns

bullet country towns.end of list

We will ask the government to give us more money for housing people can afford before the Games.

We will work with the Kabi Kabi and Jinibara peoples to make sure projects for the Games include their cultures.

We will share information with the community about:

• Games projects
• how this Plan is working.
